TWF is an organization dedicated to removing educational barriers and improving the lives of current and future Historically Black Colleges and University students. This mission is accomplished through college readiness and leadership training programs, HBCU student success initiatives, partnerships, and financial support.
VISION STATEMENT
TWF will become a leading organization for Black student success and support.
ABOUT
After over a decade in higher education, R. Wayne Woodson founded The Woodson Foundation (Formerly The Woodson Fund). He noticed there were numerous resources to support students preparing for college but significantly fewer resources for enrolled students. When Woodson started his consulting company, Woodson and Associates, high school and college students from across the country began reaching out for help. Since its inception, Since its inception, TWF has expanded its offerings to include high schoolers, as well as current and future HBCU students.
